What is Safe Sanctuaries?
Policy and training for our staff and volunteers to demonstrate our commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth of all our children, youth, and those who work with them.
In covenant with the Virginia Annual Conference of United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach United Methodist Church adopted this policy to understand and reduce the risk of abuse and create a safe sanctuary for all of God’s children and youth while undertaking this mission.
