Children's Ministry - Sunday Staff
Virginia Beach UMC hosts an attended nursery and Children's Bible Experience (preschool to preteen) during our 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday worship services. We are looking for an individual who has basic Christian foundations and experience, or a desire to gain experience, in teaching children about the Bible. In order to respond to fluctuations in attendance while honoring our Safe Sanctuaries policy, we also hope for a candidate who is comfortable working with all ages, from Nursery to Preteen. Employees generally work from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday for $15 an hour. There is also the possibility of working special events from time to time, including our annual VBS (one week in June, 8:30 am-12:30 pm).
