This season of Lent & Easter

Can you imagine living through the events of Jesus’ Passion on Good Friday, the silence of Holy Saturday, and the rising of a Sunday sun, in the East, revealing before you the empty tomb? Today we see it as joyous, but on that very first Easter, the followers of Jesus were told over and over again to not be afraid. With the Resurrection of Jesus, God was revealing his perfect love.

What we are studying

We are doing a six-week dive into Matt Rawle's The Final Days, examining how the four New Testament Gospels tell slightly different stories, but offer the same Resurrection hope.

EASTER SUNDAY

SUNRISE SERVICE

@ 6:15 AM

We will be having our Easter Sunrise Service at 6:15am on 17th Street Stage on the Boardwalk. Come join us in celebrating the resurrection as the sun rises with a morning of worship and an inspiring message.

Bring a beach chair and dress warmly!

MODERN SERVICE

@ 9:30 AM 

We will be having our modern service at 9:30am in the VBUMC Oceanside Pavilion, featuring music from our praise team.

The Children's Experience will be available for kids 5 and under. Children in Elementary and 'The Current' Preteen Ministry will experience worship with their family. 

TRADITIONAL SERVICE

@ 11:15 AM 

We will also be having a traditional service at 11:15am in the VBUMC Sanctuary, featuring a brass ensemble and other special music.

The Children's Experience will be available for kids 5 and under. Children in Elementary and 'The Current' Preteen Ministry will experience worship with their family.
