Compassion for All God's People

...here to be God’s hands, bringing hope and love in the midst of life’s challenges.

We want to care for and support our families, friends, and neighbors, and show compassion and love for all of God’s people. One of the ways we do that is by providing ministries that specialize in certain areas of support for those going through specific issues and needing specific assistance. Feel free to connect with our prayer team so they can help you find a place that fits your needs.

Prayer Ministry

We believe prayer changes lives.

To many, prayer seems complicated but it’s simply talking. Spending time in prayer is the best way to develop and grow our relationship with God. Count your minutes spent daily in one or more prayer disciplines. See where you are now, set a goal, and see how God blesses your increased time with Him.

What is Stephen Ministry?

Stephen Ministry is an outreach ministry that seeks to share Christ’s love and healing power with hurting people in our community through one-on-one connection. A Stephen Minister meets weekly with a hurting person to listen, care, pray, and embody God’s presence as they struggle with a difficult time in life. They may be experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, retirement, pregnancy, or other life crises.

Saint Ministry

S.A.I.N.T. (Senior Adults In Need Team) is a one-on-one contact and outreach ministry dedicated to our frail, elderly, home-bound residents of assisted living and nursing homes.  This is a concrete expression of the “hands and feet” of Jesus, offering care that allows volunteers to use their interest, gifts, and available time.  Our goal is for all of our S.A.I.N.T.s to be connected to a team of two or three adults who offer consistent (weekly or monthly) encouragement through engaging relationships.

Opportunities for building engaging relationships include:

  • -Visitation
    -Sending notes/card
    -Prayer

Visitation volunteers are required to have training and a background check before being “sent out."
