Prayer Information

Prayer holds up and wraps around every aspect of our church community. Prayer begins and ends our time together regardless of the situation or occasion. In addition to these times of conversation with God, the following intentional opportunities exist:
- Pray for our church: Pray for our church, our pastors and leaders, the ministries and the members of this church. Opportunities to pray include using the Prayer Request list, found in the bulletin insert, and the Deployed Military List and Assisted Living List, found in the Pinnacle.
- Pray with the pastors: Join with the pastors to lift them in prayer before the Sunday worship services at 7:45 AM, 9:15 AM, or 10:45 AM. Click here to volunteer for this ministry.
- Visit our Prayer Chapel: The chapel is always open for prayer when the church is open. Prayer request cards are available near the altar for your special requests.
- Tuesday morning prayer group: Gather to pray for requests received from Sunday worship services, our Internet prayer room, prayer@vbumc.org, and a variety of other sources. This group meets each week at 7:30am. Confidentiality is observed.
- Prayer Vigils: Prayer vigils may be held during the year as requested. Participate as needed by lifting concerns in prayer.
