Student/Youth Ministry

Do you enjoy interacting with teens and seeing their enthusiasm and exuberance as you participate in activities with them?   Help share and communicate God’s love and His Word with our younger generation by volunteering to serve in Student / Youth Ministry.

Responsibilities:  Assist as needed at CREW (youth group) meetings.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  As needed.
Length of Commitment:  Not specified.

Responsibilities:  Assist in the CREW Cafe during weekly Friday night meetings or other Youth events.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps/Assistance

Responsibilities:  Prepare for each class; promote spiritual growth by being sensitive to the spiritual needs of the class; provide for social interaction/fellowship; and pray for class members.
Spiritual Gifts:  Exhortation (Encouragement); Faith;Knowledge;Pastor-Teacher (Shepherding); Teaching
Schedule:  3 or more hours weekly in preparation and prayer for each class.
Length of Commitment:  1 year.

Responsibilities:  Encourage peer support and growing relationships between members of the mission team.  Provide high school students with opportunities to learn more about the Christian faith and deepen their relationship with Christ through missions and service to others.  Take the good news of Jesus Christ into the world!  Local, out of state, and international mission opportunities are available.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  Varies upon the mission.
Length of Commitment:  Duration of the planning, preparation, and/or the actual mission trip

Responsibilities: Provide leadership which achieves the BSA’s or GSA’s objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness qualities a month youth by focusing on a vigorous program of outdoor activities.
Spiritual Gifts: Administration/Leadership; Helps/Assistance; Exhortation (Encouragement)
Schedule: Varies with troop meetings and other activities.
Length of Commitment: 1-2 years.

Responsibilities:  Encourage peer support and growing relationships between participating youth.  Provide high school students with opportunities to learn more about the Christian faith and deepen their relationship with Christ through  service to others in the local area.  Take the good news of Jesus Christ into the community!
Spiritual Gifts:  Administration/Leadership; Mercy/Compassion; Helps/Assistance
Schedule:  Varies upon the mission.
Length of Commitment:  Duration of the planning, preparation, and/or the actual mission trip.
